The last week (and a half)

Be prepared: THIS IS GOING TO BE LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I have been missing. I have had a lot to say but have been super busy since Audrey's surgery and haven't had time to update.

The day after Audrey's surgery,  we braved the Oklahoma winds to attend the local Easter candy grab at the high shool. It is an event that is held each year by a local church where they sing songs, play games, tell the Easter story, and give away candy. LOTS of candy.

Each of the girls ended up with prize candies and got to pick a toy. Abby got a kite and Audrey picked a bouncy ball. As we were getting ready to leave, some friend's of ours said that they had called Audrey's name for an Easter basket. She won a basket with another ball in it and some snacks.

Later that night we colored Easter eggs in plastic cups.
Abby had fun but...

Audrey wasn't too impressed.

The following morning the girls woke up to eggs all over the living room. It was quite a challenge to have Abby leave some for her sister to find. Again, Audrey wasn't too impressed with the eggs once she knew that there was candy inside them.

We took some great pictures after attending a wonderful church service.

Our attempt at a good picture of the girls.

Audrey clearly is done with pictures.

At least Abby was cooperative.
We hunted LOTS of eggs.

We finally got a good picture of Audrey.

We had a friend of the 4 legged variety take a vacation at our house for a few days.

Got a sneak peak of some sisterly love. Audrey usually doesn't get to swing unless she is in her infant swing but the other day I saw Abby help her on the hosre swing and they enjoyed the evening together.

Then Audrey "Did it!" Yep, she picked all the petals off of two of my tulips. She had climbed onto of the table and picked off all the petals on the tulip stems and lined them up in a line and yelled, "I DID IT!"

Whew! That was a lot and made me tired! That just about sums up the last week and a half.
