Surgery

Poor little lady got to celebrate turning 2 with a round of strep throat following her birthday bash. Wednedsay morning, her daycare called and said that she was throwing up. I left work to spend the day with my newly-turned-2-year old who was not feeling very well. Poor girl wouldn't eat anything and didn't want to get out of my lap. Not that I minded that one bit! She did take a 3 1/2 hour nap and proceed to go to bed early that night. Thursday morning, we decided that she needed to stay home another day, but that afternoon, she spiked a 103.1 fever. Daddy took her to the doctor and she had strep. Her surgery had to be postponed until this coming Friday because of the fever. Poor little lady. She is doing better now that she is on an antibiotic. Well other than the fact that the medicine is causing her to have a LOT of poopy diapers.

    Ugh..we just got over strep here too...it's so not fun. Sorry the surgery is postponed. Will keep sending healthy prayers! ;)

    That sucks that she is not feeling well. Your not suppose to feel bad after your bday until your 21. Hope everything goes well when the surgery happens. And the Elmo and Cookie Monster look good
