If you have known me for a long time or if you haven't, a little known fact about me is that I have a horrible tendency to attract pink eye. I could be within 5 miles of a person that has it and 9 out of 10 times I will get it. It really stinks and don't know what to do to about it.
Apparently my oldest inherited the pink eye gene so to speak. She gets it quite often too. Poor girl and it makes me feel bad when she gets it.
Abby's daycare called last night at about 4:30 and said that her eye was really red and had green goop coming out of it. When I got home last night, sure enough it was pink eye. Thank goodness our pediatrician knows that we have a problem keeping pink eye away from our family and called us in a RX with two bottles the last time she had it. She was excited that she didn't have to go to school today, but she will be back tomorrow.
