Too much to say

Sorry, I haven't blogged in a while. This week has been pretty crazy and I really don't know where to start. Hopefully I will be able to sit down and start using this blog as a form of therapy that is much needed and much cheaper than a therapist would be.

Summary for the week:

• Kevin and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary last Monday May 4th
• My grandmother was put in the hospital last Saturday night (2nd) having problems breathing. She is still in there so please pray for her comfort.
• Kevin and I had to explain to the very innocent mind of our 4 1/2 year old daughter that her granny Bouka was going to die and go to Heaven to see God and Jesus. That was the worst day of my life so far.
• We almost lost our Bouka on Wednesday.
• Bouka surprised us and woke up Wed afternoon. What an roller coast ride of emotions we have been on.
• Spent probably the last Mother's Day with my sister, my mom, and my granny Bouka in the hospital.
• Kevin had a hard weekend with Mother's Day. This is the second one without his mom and to be quite honest, I miss her too. She was a very special person to us who deserves her own blog post. Maybe I will get to that soon.

I have been avoiding my blog because frankly, it has been hard for me to get my feelings organized enough to write. I am worried about writing something and then offending my family members who read this, but frankly, it is my blog and whatever I write here probably isn't anything that I won't say to them in person. So I will probably be using this blog as my form of therapy.

On a side note, I am super excited because Kevin and I have purchased a new camera and I am looking forward to learning how to use it and to be able to take some awesome pictures of the kids and our families.
