Reindeer

This past Saturday night, Abby was invited to a birthday party for her friend at daycare. She ended up spending the night at the little girls house. As Kevin, Audrey and I were leaving that night, we saw three or four deer right outside their house. They live in a housing addition in the country and it is so beautiful. Sunday after church we went to pick her up and she started telling us about her night and how they saw reindeer. I questioned it and she said, "Yes, mom. Reindeer. Kind of like the ones that pull Santa's sleigh. The ones that fly up in the air. I kind of chuckled, and asked her if the ones that she saw were flying. She got a little puzzled look on her face and said that they we on the ground. Oh, the innocence of a child is so precious.
