teeth

It happened a little sooner than I thought it would. Abby had her first wiggle tooth. It had been pretty wiggly for a few months. The dentist even gave her a star shaped pillow to put it in when it came out.

It was so wiggly that daddy even tried to pull it out but that didn't work.

This past Saturday night, Abby spent the night with one of her friends C. Once everyone was asleep, Abby decided that it was time for the tooth to come out. She pulled it herself and didn't tell anyone. She ended up dropping it and the "tooth" was found in the carpet. The reason the word tooth is in quotes is because the real tooth was not found but something that resembled a tooth was. We are thinking that it was probably some sort of nut. The "tooth" was then placed in the pillow the following night. Abby was super excited to get $5 in her little star pillow the next morning when she woke up.

So far I have resisted the urge to call her snagletooth but I don't know how much longer I can resist!
