Living in Oklahoma, we have the weirdest weather. It is known to start the day in the 70's and by lunchtime you are in the 30's. I don't ever remember being hit by an ice/snow storm two times in a period of a month until now. Christmas eve we ended up getting a huge ice and snow storm that finally melted 3 weeks later.
Last week came round two. We lost power for 26 hours and then again for a few hours a couple of days later. My father in law has been out for almost a whole week.
The good thing about the mess outside is I was able to take some awesome pictures.
We lost a cedar tree that will have to come down along with a red bud tree that was so pretty outside my kitchen window.
This icicle was about 3 feet long.
The leaning tower of chicken coop. I said coop, not POOP.
After all the beautiful snow and ice and the subsequent damage to our trees I noticed this little guy. He didn't seem to mind the cold ice and snow. Here he is sitting in the loft of the old red barn.
Again on the icicle covered gate.
In the bushes.
Or up in the air. He didn't seem to mind the weather at all.

oye! ick! ice!
