My little songbird

One of the main reasons why I started a blog was to put on "paper" the little things that the kids do. The funny (or not so funny) things they say and do, their achievements, and in general all the little things so on when days they test my patience, I will hopefully remember how cute they CAN be.

My first moment to put on record. If you have ever met my oldest daughter Abby, you would know that she likes to entertain. Her favorite thing to do is sing silly songs. She will make them up all the time. I guess she got it from me. When she was little I would sing very silly songs to her all the time.

Tonight at the dinner table she started to sing a song. Here were the lyrics. "I don't like my mom." Then a really long pause and I just looked at her. I really was upset about it. The next line was "because she yells at me to go to bed". She is totally right. We do get on to her to go to bed. (Right now Kevin is in there telling her to go to bed.) I wouldn't say that we yell, but to a 4 year old, anytime we get on to her it is yelling. So there you have it. A song about not liking me because I make her go to bed.

If I can figure out how to upload a video, I will let you be entertained by some of her silliness.
