Today I had to make a stop at our credit union and saw something that kind of disturbed me. It was a sign for a fund raising event for the American Diabetes Association.
The item being sold was candy bars!
Um, HELLO people. Isn't sugar consumption one of the leading causes of diabetes and the candy bars are being sold to help raise funds to educate people on how sugar is a cause in diabetes. Does anyone else see what is wrong with this?
I wonder if the American Diabetes Associations realize this.

Completely agree and I'm a nurse. If I had seen that I think I would have pulled over and said something. No health promotion in that whatsoever lol.
